Today drebel.net hit it’s 10,000′th spam comment.
Akismet has only failed to identify roughly a dozen spam, which in the big picture really is nothing compared to the amount that successfully has been blocked.
I first enabled Akismet on May 1, 2006. Thank you Akismet.

The Sideblog Wordpress Plugin is not compatible with Wordpress 2.1. When that plugin was enabled my posts showed up twice and in some cases even three times on the main blog page. After deactivating the plugin everything went back to normal again.

Everyone is urged to upgrade to 2.0.7 because of a security vulnerability. Only a handful of files need to be upgraded though so it’s a simple task. Go to Wordpress.org for instructions.
